AR Store Donations Needed (Accelerated Reading Incentive Program) - Our students have been reading and earning AR points in anticipation of the next AR store, open on May 28th. Your help with the AR store in the fall was greatly appreciated. We are again asking for donations for the spring AR store. Specifically, our students really liked the $5 gift cards. They could be to anywhere - Wal-mart, Subway, Starbucks, Chick-fil-a, Sonic, McDonald's! Other items that are very popular are movie style box candy and summer water toys (no water guns please). Thank you in advance for your support of this program. The children really get excited about earning points for their reading and then going shopping with those points.

Product Safety and Recalls - Parents, please be aware of a website maintained by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission with news regarding product safety and recalls. You can go to www.cpsc.gov and click on Recalls and Product Safety News. You can pull up recalls by month or by product type.
Paper Recycling - We will continue to offer a convenient place to recycle paper at our school. There is a big green and yellow recycle bin that sits at the NE corner of our parking lot. In addition to the catalogs/newspapers/magazines/phonebooks we have been recycling, you can use the bin for all other paper except for cardboard. We encourage all our families to keep up the habit of recycling paper.
