Help 4 Haiti Car Wash - A big eagle thank you to all students, parents, and staff who were instrumental in pulling off the car wash on Saturday, March 6^th.  Our students washed a multitude of cars, raising over $720 to benefit the relief effort in Haiti.  We are so proud of them opening hearts to give of themselves.       

Big Shoot-Out Winners - Watch out for our future basketball stars!  Isaiah Mutepfa (4^th grade) won first place, Garrett Johnson (5^th grade) won second place, and Sophie Hoang (4^th grade) won third place in the Big Shoot-Out at Eagle Heights on Thursday, March 4^th.  Congratulations to all who participated and thank you to all who attended.

Math-a-thon - A big thanks to everyone that participated in the Math-A-Thon!  The total amount donated so far is over $6900.  What an awesome job our kids have done for the children at St. Jude's Research Hospital.   The classes that won the pizza and ice cream parties will be announced as soon as we have the final total.

Spring Break/Good Friday - The school will be closed the week of March 15-19^th for spring break and on Friday April 2^nd for Good Friday.

Once Upon a Time in Texas Show - This is an award winning musical history of our state presented in an interactive, educational, and entertaining format.  Students in K-11^th will enjoy the program on Wednesday, March 31^st.

Monthly Box Top Winners - Congratulations to the following classes for submitting the most Box Tops in the month of February.  Thanks to all who participated.  Keep up the good work!  Classes will be rewarded with an ice cream party!

Clinic Needs - The clinic is in need of boy's underwear (size 2, 4, 6) and small children's socks.

Accelerated Reading Program - Check for updates to the AR board every Friday morning in the school lobby.  Students needing to take AR tests outside of school hours, may access the computer lab most Monday afternoons from 3:40-4:00 pm and Tuesday mornings 8:00-8:20 am. 

Birthday Book Club - Don't forget to honor your child's birthday with a membership in the Birthday Book Club!  BBC forms are located in the school lobby.  Parent volunteers are needed.      

Paper Recycling - We will continue to offer a convenient place to recycle paper at our school.  There is a big green and yellow recycle bin that sits at the NE corner of our parking lot.  In addition to the catalogs/newspapers/magazines/phonebooks we have been recycling, you can use the bin for all other paper except for cardboard.  We encourage all our families to keep up the habit of recycling paper.
