Report Cards for 3rd Six Weeks – Report cards will go out to K-6th grades on Thursday, Jan 5th.
Class Spelling Bees – For the week of January 9th through the 13th, each class from 1st to 6th grade will hold a spelling bee. The top five from each class will go on to a school-wide spelling bee February 14th. From there, the top two will advance to the Brazoria County Spelling Bee on February 17th.
Gringo’s Spirit Day - The “Original” Gringo’s Pearland will host Eagle Heights for Spirit Day on Tuesday, January 10th. Please join us 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. at 2202 E. Broadway.
Parent-Teacher Connection - On Thursday, January 12th, at 6 p.m., there will be a Parent-Teacher Connection meeting held in the Music Room. We invite you to connect with us and discuss all things Eagle Heights!
Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday – Eagle Heights will be closed on Monday, January 16th in observance of the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King Jr. fought tirelessly to secure equal rights for African-American communities. In one of his many speeches, he said ‘The time is always right to do what is right’. Did you know he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964?
Chuck E. Cheese Spirit Day – Chuck E. Cheese will be hosting a spirit night for Eagle Heights at their Bay Area location on Thursday, January 26th. To celebrate, Chuck E. Cheese himself will be making an appearance at Eagle Heights beginning at 2:30 p.m. Following his appearance, please join us at 1541 W. Bay Area Blvd., Webster, TX 77598 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a night of fun and supporting EHCA!
Yearbook Sales - You still have time to personalize your yearbook until January 31st!
To order your $30 yearbook, go the school’s website and click on the icon “order yearbooks”. You will be taken to the Josten’s website where you click on the option to “purchase yearbook”. Keep in mind you can also purchase a personal ad featuring your child on their own page! The prices are:

Jeans Pass Week - Passes will go on sale February 6th for Jeans Pass Week February 13th-17th.
Speech Meet – The speech meet is going to be virtual this year, and any students between 1st and 6th grade are welcome to participate! Students can get with their teachers to pick out a speech and begin practicing right away. All speeches should be memorized and ready to be presented by March 1st.
Lost and Found - Please remember to put your child’s name in or on coats, sweaters, jackets, water bottles and lunch boxes. Having a name ensures that we can reunite all belongings to the owner.
Spirit Shirts - Spirit shirts are worn to school every Friday, on spirit days, and on field trips. Youth and adult size shirts are available for purchase at the front desk for $12 each.
Before School Drop off - Parents, please be aware that before 8:10 a.m., students may be dropped off on the North side at Entrance #1. Those arriving from 7-7:45 a.m. will incur a fee for Early Morning Care.
Students will be sent to class at 8:10 a.m. MDO parents, please continue to walk-in for drop off at 8:10am.
Lunch Accounts – Lunch account may be paid online through our website. Click the pay online tab. You can view your family lunch account activity online through ParentsWeb. Click on Family>Family Home>Family Billing>Details. Keep in mind that a negative balance indicates a credit while a positive balance indicates amount owed. You will be notified by email on Sundays if your account has fallen below zero.
Preschool Parents - Please make sure that your child has at least one extra change of clothes in their bag each day (including underwear), even if your child doesn’t have potty accidents. Students sometimes get messy for other reasons where a change of clothes is needed. If your child is having more than one accident a week, we ask that you donate a package of underwear in your child’s size to our school nurse, Kim Green.
